Our go-to enamel mug. Giving a major reason for keeping chooks. If someone you know keeps hens they may concur with the sentiment, this is an ideal gift for them... The legend reads around the mug under Dorcus, one of our much missed hens from a long line of little brown hens, and some inquisitive chicks that were hatched by one of our Pekin bantams. Ideal for tea, coffee, rum, meths, or mulled cider. Do not microwave, you'll get a lightshow. These mugs are very robust, ideal for outside use. They won't break, unless you run over them with a Landrover or garden roller, but the enamel can chip; although we think that adds character... Not dishwasher safe, however we have put them through a dishwasher and they come out fine, there may be some fading of the design after repeated cycles so we recommend hand-wash only. As these are enamel coated there may be some slight blemishes in the enamel. We try to weed out any that are flawed but due to the nature of the materials it may be expected. Sent in a smashproof box, via Royal Mail Tracked and signed for 48 service. |
